Vias Rail Secures Fifteen Year Contract to Operate Ruhr S-Bahn Lines with New Stadler EMU Fleet

The Rhine-Ruhr Transport Authority (VRR) in northwest Germany has officially chosen Vias Rail as the preferred operator for a 15-year contract to run Partial Network D. This network includes two S-Bahn lines and regional express services that are vital for connecting major cities within the region.
