The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched We Don’t Wait For Fun, a new campaign that aims to inspire early-career travelers to seize the moment and rediscover Singapore as a destination where exciting experiences are always within reach.
Designed for young professionals seeking to maximize their time abroad, the campaign emphasizes Singapore’s small size, excellent connectivity, and variety of attractions, making it easy to do more in a single trip. From visiting new cafés and exploring lively neighborhoods to discovering artistic hubs and local art scenes, every part of the city offers opportunities for adventure and discovery.
The central message of the campaign is that fun shouldn’t be delayed. Rather than spending months planning the ideal trip, travelers in Singapore are encouraged to follow their curiosity and embrace new experiences as they arise.
To better connect with Filipino audiences, STB has adopted the localized phrase “SG? Sige, G!”, a playful variation of a common Filipino saying that embodies the enthusiasm of saying yes to spontaneous plans. Whether it’s a quick trip with friends, a solo excursion, or a last-minute invitation to explore something new, the campaign highlights the joy of just going for it.
“Filipino travelers, especially early-career professionals, are increasingly seeking destinations that offer a mix of discovery, excitement, and convenience,” said Terrence Voon, Singapore Tourism Board’s Executive Director for Southeast Asia. “Singapore’s diverse experiences and ease of getting around allow travelers to make the most of every moment. Through “We Don’t Wait For Fun”, we invite Filipinos to experience Singapore in ways that feel personal, adventurous, and memorable.”
Rei Germar, a content creator known for wellness routines and creative pursuits, kicks off the campaign as its opening voice with a social series documenting her experience in Singapore. She explores various aspects of the city, from a morning run at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and a traditional tingkat painting workshop to creative spaces in New Bahru and the lively streets of Joo Chiat, demonstrating how everyday moments can become unexpected adventures.

“Some of my favorite moments in Singapore weren’t necessarily the ones I planned for, they were the spontaneous discoveries, detours, and unexpected experiences I decided to try on a whim. That’s what made the trip so memorable for me. Sometimes all it takes is a simple ‘Sige, G!’” said Rei Germar.
Rei’s content signals the start of a broader campaign rollout, with Filipinos expecting more engaging activities, collaborations, and experiences under the theme “We Don’t Wait For Fun” in the coming months. These initiatives are part of STB’s efforts to highlight the many ways Singapore can inspire travelers’ curiosity, spontaneity, and discovery.
