Gerbranda brings over 15 years of extensive international experience spanning Europe, Africa, Asia, and the United States, where he has consistently led teams to scale digital products, enhance monetization strategies, and accelerate delivery in high-growth environments. His proven track record in building customer-centric products positions him to lead Rail Europe’s next phase of innovation and expansion.

Gerbranda joins Rail Europe from Taxfix, the prominent German fintech unicorn, where he served as Director of Product – Growth & Platforms. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving European market expansion, fostering a strong product culture at the leadership level. He has also held senior positions at global giants such as AliExpress (Alibaba Group) and Google, and previously served as CEO and Chief Product Officer at Glownet, successfully scaling the company and achieving a profitable exit.

At Rail Europe, Gerbranda will oversee the global product organization with a focus on three strategic priorities. First, he aims to simplify the end-to-end experience for both travellers and partners, ensuring seamless interactions across the platform.
