When people ask me what to buy for the kitchen on Amazon Prime Day, my answer is simple: the quantity of deals doesn't really matter — it's the quality. After covering every Amazon sale since 2019, I use these events to invest in kitchen products I'll use often, whether it's a durable kitchen appliance, a well-made tool, or an everyday essential I'll use for years to come.

In its Prime Day hub, Amazon lists a handful of worth-it kitchen deals, but to find the best of the best, I had to dig deep. That's where I found Prime Day deals on the best kitchen brands, meaningful markdowns on the kitchen products BI Reviews has thoroughly tested, and savings on favorites from my own kitchen.

Below, my findings are organized into five categories, starting with the absolute best Prime Day kitchen deals. Le Creuset Dutch Oven

Le Creuset is the first name that comes to mind when I think of the best cookware. The brand's Dutch ovens are among my favorite pieces. The enameled cast iron is easier to maintain than its seasoned counterpart and makes an attractive stovetop feature.

As a shopping editor, I've been asked if Le Creuset deals are worth it at Prime Day, and generally, I think they are. Check the brand's Amazon storefront for the best Prime Day deals on grilling essentials, cookware sets, and more. They're often comparable to Black Friday prices, and the sale selection includes several multipurpose pieces like these. Keep in mind that discounts typically only apply to the core color range. If you're eyeing a seasonal color, you may need to pay full price. While Le Creuset is the gold standard, you can also score deals on cast iron pieces from Staub and Lodge.

Cuisinart ICE-30 Pure Indulgence ice cream maker

One of the best ice cream makers you can buy is at one of its best prices of the year, which I wouldn't expect at the start of peak ice cream season, when demand is high. It's much less expensive than the Ninja Creami, which makes highly customized treats but ultimately frustrated our reviewer. The Cuisinart, on the other hand, is simple to use and churns out 2 quarts in a half-hour, provided the metal bowl is frozen beforehand.

My tip is to leave it in your freezer at all times so you're ready to go when the ice cream-making mood strikes — that's what I do with the bowl of my Cuisinart ice cream maker, which still works well after nearly 15 years of use. Should it ever break, I'd replace it with the current model.

KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer

The only stand mixers worth your time are KitchenAid's. They last for decades with minimal upkeep, and with the breadth of available attachments, they can help you make almost anything. So far, I've only used mine for baking with the basic included attachments, and it's worth the money for that alone.

There are a lot of products that you should never buy at full price, and this is one of them. Prime Day's discount isn't the best KitchenAid deal I've ever seen, but it's still meaningful savings on a buy-it-forever product. And keep in mind that the stand mixer is only going to get more expensive in the future — when I bought mine in 2020 (at 20% off), it retailed for $350, which is 33% less than the current list price.

Pyrex Sculpted Tinted Glass Mixing Bowls With Plastic Lids

Pyrex is my food storage go-to. I own 19 of its glass containers, each with a colorful BPA-free lid. They keep food fresher for longer than my old plastic containers did, and are easy to keep clean. I've trusted their leak-proof seal to take soup to the office more times than I can count — and via public transportation, no less.

This is one of the best Prime Day Pyrex deals I spotted, and the brand's not often on sale outside events like these (save for clearance). With their bright colors and fluted texture, these containers are perfect for bringing a dish to a picnic or potluck.

John Boos RA-Board Series Rectangular Wooden Maple Cutting Board

A must-have for any kitchen is a solid cutting board. When choosing one, it's essential to consider how it will affect your knife blades. Some can chip or dull with the wrong cutting boards, which is why I prefer wood cutting boards over other materials like glass and plastic. They won't damage knives, and many, like John Boos, are heirloom-worthy if you take care of them. This flat board is a favorite of the BI Reviews team. It is pretty enough to leave on the counter, and easy to maintain.

Caraway Cookware Set

Our former kitchen editor used this set in her own kitchen for more than 2 years, and it held up well. She likes the ceramic nonstick cookware's even heat retention (though they take time to heat up) and interchangeable lids, which fit her pots and pans from other brands. And while the included storage system isn't compatible with her small kitchen, she doesn't mind leaving the attractive saucepan on her stovetop.

Caraway usually sees its highest discounts during Black Friday, but not by much more than what I'm seeing at Prime Day. Before purchasing, it's worth your time to figure out where the storage rack would live in your kitchen, and where you'd store your cookware if it doesn't.

Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro

Titanium cookware is lighter and easier to use than stainless steel, and it has a nonstick surface that won't wear down as quickly as traditional nonstick pans, though it's not quite as slick. Our Place's titanium pan is a winner for its patterned nonstick surface that can both could sear crusts to a crisp and delicately fry an egg during testing. Its high sides and high heat retention come in handy when baking, too.

Our Place is another "never buy full price" brand for me, and it reliably provides good discounts on Prime Day. My best guess is that you won't find it at a better price until November.

"My favorite day-to-day air fryer is the single-basket Cosori TurboBlaze," said our food writer in her thorough guide to buying an air fryer. At 6 quarts, it's a good size for most households.

I'll admit, I haven't had great experiences with air fryers so far. The one my partner brought over when he moved in is a dud — my clunky rental apartment oven heats tear-and-bake cookies faster.
