The 48-hour sale kicks off at 12:01 a.m. PT on October 6 and concludes at 11:59 p.m. PT on October 7. However, early discounts on kitchen gear, gadgets, and countertop appliances often quietly go live in the days leading up to the event as brands clear warehouse space for holiday inventory.

Do I need an Amazon Prime membership to shop the deals?

Yes. The steep price drops on trusted outdoor brands are exclusively paywalled for active Amazon Prime members. If you aren't currently sub scribed, your best strategy is to sign up for a free 30-day trial to lock in the savings on high-ticket fire pits and sectionals — you can always cancel before the billing cycle begins.

Is Prime Day a good time to buy kitchen gear?

It can be. The key is to separate an actual deal from a product with a big red percentage next to its price.
