Plan Ahead: Cebu Pacific Reminders for Holy Week Travel

Cebu Pacific Advisory Peak Travel Reminders for Holy Week

As the highly anticipated peak travel season for Holy Week draws near, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is dedicated to prioritizing the safety and comfort of all its passengers. In preparation for the busy travel period, the airline has compiled a series of helpful reminders and tips to help travelers organize their trips, ensuring a smoother, more enjoyable, and stress-free experience from check-in to arrival.

Cebu Pacific Flight to Da Nang

These recommendations aim to make every Juan’s journey as convenient and seamless as possible, allowing travelers to focus on the festivities and meaningful moments ahead.

Check the airport terminal assignment of your flight

Before heading to the airport, passengers should carefully review their itineraries and boarding passes, paying close attention to the flight number and terminal information. Flight numbers start with 5J, DG, or T6.

  • 5J flights: Operated by Cebu Pacific using larger commercial jet aircraft. For those flying to and from Manila, these flights arrive at and depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
  • DG flights: Operated by Cebgo using smaller turboprop aircraft.
  • T6 flights: Operated by AirSWIFT using smaller turboprop aircraft.

Effective March 29, 2026, all DG and T6 flights operating to and from NAIA Terminal 2 will transfer to Clark International Airport.

Be on time at the airport

Considering the expected increase in road traffic during peak travel seasons, passengers should allocate extra time for their journey to the airport. We recommend arriving at least three (3) hours before departure for domestic flights and four (4) hours prior for international flights.

Check-in counters close 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time for domestic flights and one hour for international flights to allow sufficient time for all necessary pre-flight procedures. After checking in, passengers are encouraged to go directly through immigration and final security to prevent delays. Boarding begins 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.

Check in online

To avoid long lines at the airport, check in using the official CEB mobile app or the Manage Booking section on the CEB website. Both options are available from 48 hours before up to 1 hour before departure for domestic flights, and up to 2 hours before departure for international flights.

Domestic passengers who checked in online and do not have check-in baggage may go straight to the boarding gates.

CEB’s check-in counters at NAIA Terminal 3 are situated in Aisles A and B. Counters A1-A15 serve passengers who checked in online, whereas counters A17-A29 and B1-B15 are for those who haven’t checked in online.

Accomplish eTravel Forms for International Trip

To ensure a smooth process at immigration counters, international travelers should register or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours or three days before leaving or arriving in the Philippines. Remember to save the QR code generated at the end of the form.

Passengers on round-trip international flights must complete the eTravel form twice: once before departure and once upon arrival.

After generating the eTravel QR code, make sure to complete the Customs Declaration Form before your arrival. Passengers should keep their eTravel QR code, as customs officers will scan it after baggage claim at the arrival carousel.

eTravel forms can be accomplished by downloading the eGovPH app or accessing www.etravel.gov.ph.

Baggage Policy

Passengers are allowed to bring one carry-on bag that fits in the overhead bin and one personal item, such as a purse, small backpack, or laptop bag, that fits under the seat in front. Both items are free and must weigh no more than 7kg combined. Bags exceeding size or weight limits will be checked and incur charges at the boarding gate.

Passengers are advised to buy prepaid baggage online through the CEB website or mobile app, which can be up to four times cheaper than paying at the airport. CEB’s revised baggage policy permits passengers to check up to three pieces of 20kg each. Additionally, for each piece purchased, passengers can add an extra 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg to the original 20kg allowance.

Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance online up to two (2) hours before departure.

Personal Electronic Devices and Power Banks

Portable electronic devices (PEDs) such as phones, laptops, and tablets must be placed in your carry-on baggage. For safety and security reasons, these must not be placed in your check-in baggage.

Passengers may carry power banks up to 100Wh capacity. For those between 100Wh and 160Wh, approval must be obtained from the check-in counter.

Passengers must carry their power banks in their hand luggage and either keep them in their pocket or in the seat pocket in front of them. These must not be stored in the overhead bin or under the seats.

Using and charging power banks is strictly prohibited during the flight.

Self-tag luggage for select domestic destinations

Passengers flying from select domestic destinations (Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Caticlan, Clark, Coron, Davao, El Nido, General Santos, Iloilo, Manila, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga) are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage at the designated kiosks at the airport before heading to the counters for bag drops. Self-bag drop kiosks are also available at NAIA Terminal 3 and Clark International Airport.

Passengers are encouraged to keep their contact details current to receive email notifications about flight reminders and updates. They can update their contact details through the Manage Booking portal on the CEB website.
