Sustainability Team of the Year

Pegasus’ Sustainability Team was awarded the Sustainability Team of the Year for its comprehensive and impactful approach to sustainability. The team’s achievements are rooted in its climate transition roadmap, gender equity initiatives, and robust governance framework, all underpinned by transparent reporting practices. This holistic ESG strategy has enabled Pegasus to create significant value while advancing its commitment to sustainability across multiple dimensions.

European Treasury Team of the Year

The airline’s Treasury Team received the European Treasury Team of the Year award in recognition of its groundbreaking and diverse financing transactions completed in 2024 and 2025. These notable achievements included securing financing for several aircraft, implementing sustainability-linked structures, issuing Eurobonds, and funding the construction of hangar buildings at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Additionally, the Treasury Team orchestrated the first-ever engine maintenance transaction in the aviation industry supported by France’s export credit agency, BpiFrance, under its credit insurance programme.

Sustainability Aviation Financing Excellence Award

Pegasus Airlines earned the Sustainability Aviation Financing Excellence Award for its innovative Sustainability-Linked JOLCO (Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option) financing of three Airbus A321neo aircraft. In partnership with SMFL and SMBC, this groundbreaking transaction uniquely aligned both the debt and equity components to the airline’s long-term sustainability objectives, setting a new standard in sustainable aviation financing.
