More than 140 fell ill with vomiting and diarrhea aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas, prompting a CDC inquiry. The ship, which set out on a roundtrip cruise from Los Angeles to Mexico, pulled back to port on July 11, ending the trip early for dozens of sickened travelers.

The luxurious cruise ship left Los Angeles on July 4 and made a stop in Puerto Vallarta on July 8, before turning around. There are reports that 134 passengers and 7 crew became symptomatic mid-voyage.
