Another key addition was the Darjeeling Ghum Darjeeling (Train No. 52592), introduced on September 20, 2025. Northeast Frontier Railway also introduced the Danapur Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 26302/26301) on September 17, 2025, operating six days a week. This addition brings the high-speed Vande Bharat express service to the region, offering passengers a modern, efficient, and comfortable travel experience. Similarly, the Siliguri-Katihar-Siliguri Express (Train No. 15702/15701), which began daily services from September 16, 2025, improves connectivity between Siliguri and Katihar, two major stations in the area.

Another addition was the Erode Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 16601/16602), which began operating weekly services from September 25, 2025. This new train improves access between Erode and Jogbani, benefiting both business and leisure travelers.
