Norrna Andrja Lodge will be a long-anticipated extension of Norrna, the Norwegian outdoor experience specialist and producer of technical adventure gear.

Andørja Island offers one of Norway’s most dramatic natural settings. The island features more than 20 mountain peaks rising above 1,000 metres, creating a rare combination of alpine landscapes and Arctic coastline.

The lodge has been developed for travellers seeking direct access to wilderness while maintaining comfort. Instead of traditional mass tourism, the experience focuses on small groups, guided exploration and close interaction with nature.

A new chapter for Norrøna adventure tourism

Established in 1929 as an outdoor equipment, expedition clothing and adventure experience company, Norrna has a known to focus on creating outdoor product, expeditions and adventure experiences. The 500-sq-m Andrja Lodge extends this beyond the outdoor products to create a destination for travellers to experience the environment themselves. The Andrja Lodge sits alongside other Norrna adventure projects in Norway, such as mountain biking-focused Canvas Telemark and expeditions aboard Varg S/Y.

Travellers interested in an adventure in Northern Norway will be able to use the lodge as a base from which to explore one of Europe’s most remote environments, with a combination of guided activities, cultural experiences and comfortable accommodation.

Norrna Andrja Lodge will open to bookings in late October, with prices from around 990 per person per night. The first guests will check-in to the property when it opens in June 2027.
