Boucherie has expanded its presence in New York City with the opening of its third restaurant on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, introducing its distinctive French brasserie dining experience to one of the borough’s most historic residential districts. Developed by The Group Hospitality, the new establishment builds on Boucherie’s reputation for traditional French gastronomy, elegant surroundings and attentive service. Combining the charm of Parisian café culture with a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere, the restaurant aims to attract both local residents and travellers seeking an authentic taste of France in New York.

Drawing inspiration from the cultural splendour of La Belle Époque, Boucherie celebrates the enduring appeal of French culinary traditions. Its dining concept brings together carefully prepared French specialities, a diverse wine selection and sophisticated interiors that reflect the character of historic Parisian brasseries. The emphasis remains on creating a comfortable social setting where guests can enjoy quality food, share memorable moments and experience refined dining without an overly formal atmosphere.

The latest restaurant occupies space within the former Hotel Endicott, a historic property constructed between 1889 and 1891 as an upscale hospitality destination. The building’s architectural legacy provides a distinctive backdrop for Boucherie’s signature design, blending elements of Manhattan’s past with classic French influences. Offering an all-day dining experience, the Upper West Side location caters to everything from relaxed weekend brunches and casual family gatherings to special celebrations and evening meals. With its combination of heritage, cuisine and hospitality, the restaurant seeks to establish itself as a welcoming culinary destination within the neighbourhood.

“Our restaurants have always been places where people can gather, celebrate, and enjoy the timeless traditions of French dining,” said Emil Stefkov. “We’re thrilled to bring Boucherie to the Upper West Side and become part of such a vibrant neighborhood known for its rich culture, strong sense of community, and appreciation for great food.”

The culinary offerings at Boucherie Upper West Side bring together authentic French gastronomy, seasonal creations and carefully selected ingredients. The menu celebrates traditional cooking methods while presenting an impressive selection of seafood, meat dishes and classic French favourites. Diners can begin with the Plateau de Fruits de Mer, a seafood platter featuring fresh oysters, shrimp and littleneck clams. Other appetisers include escargots, steak tartare, lobster bisque and moules frites. The main courses feature renowned French preparations such as boeuf bourguignon, Provençal bouillabaisse and duck leg confit. Steak enthusiasts can explore an extensive selection of premium cuts, including New York strip aged on the premises, grass-fed ribeye and Japanese A-5 Wagyu. Larger options, including a 48-ounce tomahawk steak and Châteaubriand, are designed for guests who prefer to share. Traditional desserts such as profiteroles, Paris-Brest and crème brûlée provide a sweet conclusion, complemented by a diverse wine collection and specially crafted cocktails.

The restaurant’s interiors combine the elegance of a traditional Parisian brasserie with architectural details that reflect the property’s historic significance. Designed to accommodate 255 guests, the venue features several distinctive dining areas, each offering a different atmosphere. The main brasserie welcomes visitors with intimate bistro-style seating, exposed brick arches and an impressive pewter bar. Beyond this space lies the Palm Room, an airy dining area illuminated by natural light filtering through its magnificent curved glass ceiling. A separate semi-private section within the principal dining room provides seating for as many as 40 people, making it suitable for celebrations, corporate occasions and exclusive dining experiences.

The Palm Room occupies an area that originally served as the lobby of the historic Hotel Endicott. Its restoration incorporates design features that acknowledge the building’s past while introducing contemporary sophistication. Decorative Calacatta mosaic floors, rich walnut woodwork and elegant mirrored arches recall the property’s original architectural character. Tall majesty palms introduce natural greenery and reinforce the room’s historic identity. Throughout the restaurant, deep burgundy seating, polished marble, warm brass finishes and classic French-inspired lighting establish a refined yet welcoming setting. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that reflects Boucherie’s Parisian identity while preserving the distinctive heritage of Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Situated at 444 Columbus Avenue in New York City, Boucherie Upper West Side enjoys a convenient position close to several major cultural and recreational landmarks. Visitors can easily reach Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History, Central Park and the Beacon Theatre on foot. This location makes the restaurant a convenient dining choice for theatre audiences, museum visitors, tourists and local residents seeking a French culinary experience before or after exploring the neighbourhood.

Boucherie Upper West Side plans to welcome guests throughout the week, serving brunch, lunch and dinner. Its scheduled operating hours are 11:00 am to midnight from Monday to Friday, with earlier opening at 10:00 am on Saturdays and Sundays. The extended daily service offers visitors flexibility to enjoy everything from relaxed daytime meals to evening dining experiences in one of Manhattan’s established cultural neighbourhoods.
