Another round of tropical activity is brewing in the Pacific, with Tropical Depression Fourteen-E trailing behind former Hurricane Lowell, Karina and Marie as the next tropical threat.

Another round of tropical activity is brewing in the Pacific, with Tropical Depression Fourteen-E trailing behind former Hurricane Lowell, Karina and Marie as the next tropical threat.
So far this season, there have been 15 named storms, including six hurricanes.
The storm was designated Invest 96E on Tuesday and shortly after, became Tropical Depression Fourteen-E.
The FOX Forecast Center said Tropical Depression Fourteen-E is likely to become Tropical Storm Norbert sometime Thursday, and could reach hurricane status by Saturday.
Rain and thunderstorm activity is becoming more organized in relation to an elongated area of low pressure several hundred miles south of the Baja California peninsula.
"Current long-range forecasts have this system continue to move east and potentially in the direction of Hawaii, but that is over a week and a half away," the FOX Forecast Center said. "There is plenty of time for forecasts to change and evolve."
This will likely become the next named storm, Norbert.
