Manila, Philippines — IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), a globally renowned leader in the hospitality industry with a diverse portfolio of hotel brands worldwide, is making an exciting return to the Philippines by reintroducing one of its most distinguished and iconic luxury brands, InterContinental Manila. Set to open in 2032, the 212-key hotel will mark InterContinental’s return to the vibrant, historic capital after over 15 years. This move reaffirms IHG’s long-term dedication to boosting the country’s tourism sector. InterContinental Manila will become part of the world’s largest luxury hotel brand, offering a premium travel experience designed for modern travelers.
InterContinental Manila will be situated in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), also called Global City or The Fort. This 240-hectare, master-planned district has evolved from a former military base into Metro Manila’s premier modern business center. BGC hosts the Philippine Stock Exchange, major multinational companies, and some of the country’s tallest and most recognizable landmarks.
The hotel features a range of excellent amenities, such as an all-day dining restaurant and a signature specialty restaurant and bar. Guests can enjoy flexible meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom, function rooms, and meeting rooms. For relaxation and wellness, there is a fully equipped health club and spa, along with an outdoor swimming pool and poolside bar for a refreshing experience.

Reintroducing InterContinental to Manila is a wonderful milestone, and a perfect fit for the city with strong long-term fundamentals and increasing demand for luxury travel. This signing reinforces our commitment to expanding our Luxury & Lifestyle presence across the Philippines and the wider region.”
