FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets, prices, teams, and dates

FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets are sold in phases, and resale options are already open. Here's how to navigate pricing and availability.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is shaping up to feel bigger than any edition before it. For the first time, the tournament will be hosted across three countries — the United States, Canada, and Mexico — and expanded to 48 teams, which means more matches, more cities, and more chances for fans to get in on the action.

Tickets usually sell out quickly once sales open, especially for knockout games and matchups featuring top teams. Fans often look to FIFA's official ticket platform first, but resale prices can climb quickly for the most in-demand games. Argentina, France, Brazil, England, and Spain are among the teams expected to draw plenty of attention, further fueling the buzz around getting in early.

When did 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup first went on sale in September 2025, when FIFA opened the Visa Presale Draw as the initial sales phase (a lottery-style window for eligible Visa cardholders). After that, FIFA continued releasing inventory through additional sales phases (including draw-based windows and subsequent purchase periods), with availability varying by match, venue, and demand.

If you're looking for the next major buying opportunity, FIFA opened the Last-Minute Sales in early April 2026, on a first-come, first-served basis, via the official FIFA ticketing platform. Since this window has long passed, StubHubandVivid Seatsare your best bet for secondhand seats to sold-out games.
