Dubai International Airport has installed over 520 hearing loops across its terminals to enhance accessibility for travelers with hearing impairments, ensuring they can navigate the airport with ease and confidence. Dubai Airports has completed the installation of more than 520 hearing loops across Dubai International Airport (DXB), enhancing accessibility for travelers with hearing impairments. These systems have been strategically placed at critical locations, including check-in counters, immigration desks, boarding gates, and information desks throughout all three terminals at DXB.

The hearing loops function by enabling automatic connectivity when users activate the ‘T’ (telecoil) setting on their hearing aids, eliminating the need for additional devices or pairing. This makes it easier for travelers to hear announcements and communicate effectively in busy airport environments.

This project is part of Dubai Airports’ ongoing commitment to ensuring inclusivity and providing an exceptional experience for all passengers, regardless of their abilities. By making DXB more accessible, the airport aims to support travelers with different needs, allowing them to navigate the terminals with greater ease and confidence.
