The 6 best new movies and TV shows streaming this weekend

Off Campus and Dutton Ranch are among the best new movies and TV shows streaming this weekend.

Another week has passed, which means there's a new selection of fresh films and TV shows now streaming. We've scanned through the slush to highlight the six best movies, TV shows, and specials worth streaming the weekend of May 15, 2026.

Among the can't-miss new programming is a stand-up comedy special from "Abbott Elementary" star Lisa Ann Walter. In the nonfiction field, you can also find a new, breezy season of TV from Stanley Tucci in "Tucci in Italy" and a touching documentary about a comedy icon in "Marty, Life Is Short." Perhaps the most enticing premiere this week is the latest series in the "Yellowstone" universe, a Texas-set adventure for Beth and Rip called "Dutton Ranch."

If you've been lost since the finale of "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 2, Disney Plus and Marvel have a special to help fill the gap. "The Punisher: One Last Kill" brings back Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle for a special episode (co-written by Bernthal) as he attempts to move on with his life, but things have a way of catching up with him. Deborah Ann Woll, Jason R. Moore, and Judith Light also star in "One Last Kill." The special presentation is now streaming on Disney Plus.

Move over "The Summer I Turned Pretty," there's a new Prime Video young adult romance book adaptation. Based on Elle Kennedy's series of the same name, "Off Campus" follows a university ice hockey star and another college student who decide to start a fake relationship in the hopes of catching a crush's attention. The soapy series stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, and arrives on the heels of the hockey romance "Heated Rivalry." All episodes are now streaming on Prime Video.

In the latest season, Tucci visits five new regions of Italy, including Naples and Campania, Sicily, Le Marche, Sardinia, and Veneto.
