From Facebook Community to National Stage: 4th Gawad Madiskarte Celebrates Mompreneurs
What started as an online community for mothers sharing business ideas and advice has grown into one of the Philippines’ most vibrant digital ecosystems for women entrepreneurs.

4th Gawad Madiskarte Finalists
Madiskarte Moms Philippines (MMPH), an initiative supported by PLDT Home, initially began as a Facebook community for moms interested in starting and expanding their businesses. Over time, it has evolved into a vibrant platform offering mentorship, online learning sessions, and a supportive community that assists members in overcoming entrepreneurial challenges.
As the community marks its fifth anniversary, MMPH highlights its members on a national level with the 4th Gawad Madiskarte, its premier awards event honoring inspiring mompreneurs who have turned creativity, resilience, and perseverance into thriving businesses.
Madiskarte Moms PH has created a platform for mothers to share practical insights via digital chats, shared experiences, and learning sessions. Topics cover areas such as online product marketing, financial management, and balancing business responsibilities with family life.
The community keeps supporting women at various points in their entrepreneurial paths, whether they are launching home-based businesses or expanding existing ones. This show how digital communities can turn into tangible economic opportunities.

Equipping Mompreneurs for the Digital Economy
Beyond just recognition, the 4th Gawad Madiskarte will include learning sessions aimed at providing mompreneurs with practical insights into leadership and entrepreneurship within today’s changing digital environment.
Featured resource speakers include Ma. Rosalyn “Lenlen” Mesina, UN Women Philippines Country Programme Coordinator, and Ms. Ermelita Valdeavilla, Chairperson of the Philippine Commission on Women. They will share insights on empowering women and expanding opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the country.
Celebrating the Future of Mompreneurship
The winners of the 4th Gawad Madiskarte will be announced during the awarding ceremony on March 28, 2026, at Seda BGC, where outstanding mompreneurs will be recognized for their achievements and contributions to the growing community of Filipino women entrepreneurs.
Awardees will be awarded cash prizes and a custom trophy crafted by Filipino visual artist Eric Masangkay. His sculpture symbolizes the determination and aspirations of mompreneurs working to create better futures for their families.
More than just an awards program, Gawad Madiskarte showcases how digital communities and shared learning can empower Filipino mothers to turn ideas into sustainable businesses.
As Madiskarte Moms PH celebrates five years of impact, its message to mompreneurs across the country remains clear:
